CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — The accused gunman in the February 2024 killing of Dallion Lewis on Jack Run Road is on trial in Harrison County this week.

Kameron Griffin, 25, of Akron, Ohio allegedly hid in the back of a vehicle Lewis was riding in and jumped out when the vehicle stopped and shot Lewis to death over a $100 drug debt.

Dennis High was found guilty of murder and sentenced to life with mercy in August for driving the vehicle and stopping along Jack Run Road as a signal to Griffin and Taneil Thompson to exit the vehicle and confront Lewis.

Griffin was taken into custody at a residence in Akron, Ohio in March 2024 after an attempt to run from police.

Tuesday testimony included evidence experts who provided testimony regarding DNA and ballistics information.
