HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Two men have been arrested in connection with separate arson investigations in Huntington.

According to the Huntington Fire Department, Mark Anthony Jackson, 41, and Eric Franklin Congleton, 49, were each arrested and charged with arson.

Jackson was arrested on October 10 for an October 3 incident in the 2600 block of Guyan Avenue where a vehicle was on fire.

Congleton was arrested on October 13 for his alleged involvement in a separate vehicle fire in the 300 block of 6th Avenue. Court records show that the vehicle belonged to Congleton’s ex-girlfriend.

The investigations were conducted by the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
