GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - Stars and Stripes is gearing up for another Honor Flight of Champions, a special flight honoring local veterans.

The flight is in partnership with the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks, and the Milwaukee Brewers. It gives team alumni a chance to meet and hear stories from veterans, and be able to join them on this trip that leaves a lasting impact on the veterans.

"There is nobody else in the country that's doing this, and it's such a great thing, the veterans know that organizations like the Packers, Brewers, and Bucks appreciate their service, and are willing to get involved to let them know that," says Stars and Stripes Board of Directors Paula Nelson.
