Munroe Falls officials were advising motorists Oct. 21 to avoid state Route 91 at the railroad crossing after a water main break occurred.

The north lane will be closed during the day for repairs to the water main and the road, the city said.

"Construction may continue for several days," the city said in a social media post.

A boil water advisory was issued for a limited number of businesses between 21 N. Main St. and 59 N. Main. This was not a citywide alert and several businesses were excluded, including Lemongrass Grille, Fabric Shop, Subway, Gioninos, Computer ER, Spice Delight and Gray Mart.

Those using tap water in the affected area should heat the water until it comes to a full rolling boil for 1 minute. Let cool and store for use.
