BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -A family-owned pizzeria in Bowling Green is fighting to stay open as the owner battles a serious medical condition that has required partial amputation and ongoing treatment.
Tamburrino’s Pizzeria opened its brick-and-mortar location in late August with the goal of bringing authentic Chicago-style pizza to south-central Kentucky, but owner Brian Tamburrino has faced a series of medical events that threaten his dream of a successful business.
Tamburrino said he noticed something was wrong about a week after the restaurant opened.
