Gucci Mane shared in his new memoir, Episodes: The Diary of a Recovering Mad Man, that he had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Now the Wake Up in the Sky rapper's wife, Keyshia Ka'oir, has spoken about how she manages his mental health struggles. The couple - who married in 2017 - got candid during an interview on The Breakfast Club. "I have a system," Ka'oir shared. "I take his apps off his phone. First thing I do, I delete Instagram. I delete everything. Even if I gotta change his password, I'm changing it because I don't need the public to know he's having an episode. "I control that. You're not going on Instagram, you're not going on Twitter, it's deleted. I control everything at home," she continued. "Now, before the episodes come, I catch it. How you catch it is he doesn't speak to you, he wants to be left alone. He don't eat, he does not sleep. Text messages, there's a period after each word." Gucci explained that he wouldn't even know he was behaving that way. He said he'd hear voices in his mind and think people were against him. Ka'oir admitted that there have been "scary" moments. "It was really, really bad. It's really sad because you're seeing someone you don't know," she shared. "I'm not talking to Gucci."
