Joel Embiid was absent from the Sixers’ opening-night injury report Tuesday.

After playing 19 games last year in a season derailed by left knee problems, Embiid should be available for the Sixers’ opener Wednesday night against the Celtics. He’s been a regular practice participant this preseason and posted 14 points, eight assists and seven rebounds over 19 minutes in the team’s exhibition finale vs. the Timberwolves.

The Sixers ruled out Paul George (left knee surgery recovery), Trendon Watford (left hamstring tightness) and Jared McCain ( right thumb surgery recovery ).
