LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville woman charged in a double fatal shooting at an Okolona apartment complex had her bond quadrupled on Tuesday.

Jazmine Brown, 22, was arrested Monday and charged with two counts of murder (complicity) and one count of receiving stolen property of a firearm.

Her charges stem from a shooting on Sept. 29 at an apartment complex on Napa Valley Court. When Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) officers arrived on scene, witnesses directed police to an apartment where officers found two men dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

Brown was arraigned Tuesday, and a judge raised her $250,000 bond to $1 million.

According to court records, a witness told LMPD that Brown was in direct communication with three other suspects and “helped plan out the shooting.”
