NEW LONDON, Conn. — An East Windsor man accused of allegedly holding two women against their will inside a hotel room at Foxwoods Resort Casino appeared in court Tuesday.

David Griswold, from the Broad Brook section of East Windsor, was arrested Monday following a reported disturbance at the Foxwoods Resort Casino Fox Tower. New documents from the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation Police Department describe two women fleeing Griswold’s hotel room and later telling officers they feared for their lives.

Griswold was charged with two counts of first-degree criminal attempt of assault, two counts of unlawful restraint, breach of peace, interfering with police, two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment and carrying a firearm under the influence of alcohol/drugs.
