SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Film Louisiana wants Hollywood glamour to come to the south.

The Film Agency visited Hollywood and hosted a reception that brought together major film decision makers and other leaders for a traditional Louisiana experience.

“We went and met with studio executives, producers, independent filmmakers, all to share what makes Louisiana. Not just a location, but a film-making partner, our competitive incentive, our world-class cruise, our diverse location, and film-friendly culture,” Film Louisiana President Jason Waggenspack said.

Shreveport-Bossier Film and Entertainment Commissioner Wade Marshall said movie production is not a new concept to Shreveport.
