Solvang VFW Post 7139 and American Legion Post 160 are hosting a free "Veterans Appreciation BBQ" on Nov. 1, starting at 5 p.m.

All Valley veterans and their spouses or significant others are invited. Dinner includes tri-tip, beans, salad, bread and drinks.
