Saturday marks the beginning of early voting in the city, with polls open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m, then running through Sunday, Nov. 2.
New Yorkers will get a chance to weigh in on citywide races like mayor and comptroller, and also on six ballot proposals.
The last proposal, question six, would move city elections to even-numbered years to align with federal elections.
Grace Rauh, executive director of Citizens Union, which has been an advocate for even-year city elections, joined “Inside City Hall” to discuss the proposal.
Rauh is also the founder of the 5BORO Institute think tank and a former political reporter at NY1.
