While Gilmore Girls did a lot to annoy longtime viewers, only one choice could really be called the moment that the classic dramedy truly betrayed its fans. Gilmore Girls had a cast of characters who were instantly lovable, a compelling hook, and a genuinely moving mother/daughter relationship at its core.
While Lorelai could be overbearing and Rory was occasionally precocious, at its best, Gilmore Girls combined fast-paced, witty dialogue with a compelling and insightful look into the relationship between the flawed duo. However, Gilmore Girls ’ weakest storylines prove that the CW show couldn’t consistently maintain its quality level throughout every episode.
