GREEN RIVER, Wyoming (ABC4) — Months after the fatal crash that killed three and injured dozens, the westbound Green River Tunnel is set to reopen.

The Wyoming Highway patrol (WHP) announced today that the Green River Tunnel westbound route on I-80 is estimated to re-open at the end of November.

According to officials, no oversized loads are allowed through the tunnel under any circumstances, and they must take alternate routes.

WHP also stated that officials, "would like to sincerely thank all the hard-working truck drivers who have been following these restrictions and continuing their work to keep Wyoming and America moving and operating."
