LACOOCHEE, Fla. (WFLA) — A man who goes by the nickname "Worm" is being sought on a warrant for attempted murder following a shooting over the weekend in Pasco County, authorities said.

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday deputies were trying to find 30-year-old Anderson Blaine Jr., aka "Worm," in connection with the Oct. 19 shooting.

The incident unfolded just after 6:30 p.m. in the area of Blanchette Court in Lacoochee.

Blaine Jr. is believed to have gotten into an argument with his neighbors before shooting and injuring a man and woman, according to the sheriff's office.

Deputies said the two victims had non-life-threatening injuries. Blaine Jr. fled from the area before law enforcement arrived, according to officials.
