The man who took a rabid raccoon to a Frederick veterinarian clinic is now receiving treatment to prevent possible infection, according to the Frederick County Health Department.

The health department had sought the public's help in finding the man after he dropped off the raccoon to CARE Veterinary Center, in Frederick, and left without leaving his contact information.
