IVINS, Utah (ABC4 Sports) - The Bank of Utah Championship tees off on Thursday at Black Desert Resort on Thursday, and the only stop in Utah on the PGA Tour will have a strong local feeling to it.

"For a tour event to be in Utah in the second year now, and growing up not too far away is really sweet," said two-time Utah State Am champ Preston Summerhays, one of eight local players in the event. "To play a tour event in my home state is awesome."

"It's really cool to have a PGA event here," said former BYU star Patrick Fishburn. "I have some family and friends coming down and be a part of this. This is such an amazing venue. There's nothing like it, so I'm excited to play it again."
