BOARDMAN Students at Boardman Local Schools were recognized at Tuesday night's Board of Education meeting.

The Board celebrated its students involved in the Boardman Student Television Network (BSTN), which gives them a hands-on opportunity to learn about the world of live broadcasting.

Superintendent Chris Neifer tells 21 News the students do work in the school, like with hype videos and the school's football games, and beyond with students even getting the opportunity to broadcast one of Youngstown State University's away games.

"We've grown beyond just our football games. I think they did over 30 events this year that they were able to broadcast and get out on our YouTube channel," Neifer said.
