This week’s state media football poll had one big shakeup as previous 6A No. 1 Rocky Mountain dropped to No. 4 after its loss to Timberline.

That moved everyone else up a spot as Eagle took over the top 6A spot, followed by Rigby and Timberline. Rigby, which beat previously unbeaten 5A Hillcrest last week, received three first-place votes, but trailed Eagle by 10 points.

Hillcrest stayed at No. 2 in the 5A poll, but No. 1 Bishop Kelly took in all 10 first-place votes.

American Falls dropped out of the 4A poll after a loss to Snake River.

In 3A, despite Ririe’s impressive win over North Fremont, West Side moved up a spot to tie the Bulldogs atop the poll with 45 points. North Fremont remained in the third spot.
