John C Hopper, longtime owner of the car dealership that bore his name, the former owner of the now-defunct North Bay Centennial of the Ontario Hockey League, former Kiwanis Club President and citizen of the year has died.

Hopper owned the Centennials during their glory run when they win the OHL in 1994. However, that was just a small part of his activities in the city
