The Oceanside Generals lost their composure against the Comox Valley Glacier Kings and dropped a 2-0 decision in Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League action at Howie Meeker Arena on Saturday night (Oct. 18).

It was a closely-contested game marred by some undisciplined play from both sides. However, it was the Generals that paid dearly for not keeping their tempers in check.

The Generals were only down by a goal after the first period. They had several man-advantage situations in the second but were unable to find a tying goal. In the third, the Generals committed four penalties in a row that gave the Glacier Kings the opportunity to score an insurance goal, denying Oceanside any chance of a comeback.
