St. Joseph's entered set three looking to close out Zachary.

The Broncos opened the set with an 11-3 lead when Redstickers coach Donna Pixley called a timeout.

"Reminded them who they are, and the work that they've been putting in," Pixley said, "and that they're more than capable of doing that."

St. Joseph's Academy drew within seven, down 13-6, before rattling off 16 straight points to take a 22-13 lead in the third set. Zachary battled back to make it close, but the Redstickers held to take the set, 25-21, to win the match 3-0.

The Redstickers (13-10) win was helped by Gracie Mann, Emmy Neumann and Emmy Graves. Mann tallied 16 kills and three digs, while Neumann had five kills and one block. Graves finished with nine assists, three aces, three kills and two digs.
