BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Buffalo man is facing multiple felonies after allegedly causing the death of his infant son.

Erie County DA Michael Keane announced on Tuesday that Elijah Rogers, 27, of Buffalo has been arraigned for allegedly causing the death of his infant son.

According to the DA, police and paramedics responded to a house on the 300 block of Tonawanda Street in Buffalo on May 23 at around 12:30 p.m. for reports of an unresponsive infant. During the morning of May 23, Rogers allegedly "recklessly engaged in conduct that created a grave risk and caused the death of his infant son." The victim was 3-month-old Kanai James Cureton, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
