FARMINGTON HILLS — Two boys soccer teams with championship pedigrees met in a Division 1 regional semifinal, with Detroit Catholic Central ending Okemos’ season by a 3-1 score at North Farmington High School.

These are the last two Division 1 programs outside of the Oakland Activities Association Red Division to win the state title, Okemos winning in 2021 and Catholic Central in 2020.
