SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The Angelo State University baseball wrapped up the Fall World Series, as the Gold Team celebrated a win in Game 3 with a 9-2 decision Tuesday night at Foster Field.

The Gold Team won Game 1 last Thursday, but the Blue Team forced a third game with a win in Game 2 on Sunday night.

ASU head coach Kevin Brooks and his staff got to take a look at a lot of new faces after the Rams lost 16 seniors to graduation this past spring.

The No. 1-ranked Rams' hopes of reaching the NCAA Division II College World Series for a fourth-straight year this past spring ended in a sweep by No. 5 UT Tyler in the Super Regional.
