ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A portion of St. Louis County’s Rams settlement funding is going toward repaving roads in dozens of subdivisions.

This comes as more discussion of using the county’s share of the Rams funding is likely to come up, as County Executive Sam Page requests using a sizable amount to address a budget shortfall.

The county council approved a nearly $6.2 million contract Tuesday night for repaving and road infrastructure improvements in 16 subdivisions throughout St. Louis County, using Rams settlement dollars. The work represents the second phase of a $40 million allocation approved in April 2024 for subdivision street repaving and other infrastructure improvements.
