Cooler air moved into New Mexico behind a cold front. Temperatures warm up again as a storm moves into the state Wednesday and Thursday.

A cold front Monday night brought cooler temperatures across New Mexico Tuesday afternoon. The plus side is winds were much lighter today. Sunny skies continued today across the state. With the calm winds and dry air, it will be another chilly night, but not as cold as today.

Winds pick up slightly Wednesday as our next storm system starts moving into the state. Temperatures will be warmer too thanks to the westerly wind. A couple isolated showers and storms will be possible in the afternoon across the western half of the state. Higher rain chances will move in late Wednesday into Thursday as the storm system crosses the state with rain sticking around
