The Swan Valley Stampeders saw their three-game win streak come to an abrupt end Tuesday night, falling 9–1 to the Waywayseecappo Wolverines.

The Wolverines struck early and often, opening the scoring just 65 seconds in when Sebastian Hicks buried a rebound for his ninth of the season. Max Collyer and Blake Farthing added quick goals less than three minutes apart to make it 3–0 just 5:40 into the game — a lead that held through the first period.

Waywayseecappo’s power play continued to click in the second. Treycen Wuttunee finished off a slick passing play from Dylan Duzan, before Duzan added one of his own to extend the lead to 5–0 after two.
