East Kilbride boss Mick Kennedy reckons he has one of the best strike partnerships in Scotland after Connor Young and Cami Elliott helped blow Elgin City away in the opening half hour of Saturday’s 3-0 win in League Two. ‌

Young, who is on loan from Dunfermline, took just two minutes to break the deadlock at K-Park when he got on the end of an Elliott pass and slotted home. ‌

With six minutes on the clock, he doubled their advantage when a strike from the edge of the box found the bottom corner, before Nathan Flanagan cut in from the right on the half hour mark and unleashed an unstoppable left-footed strike into the top corner. ‌
