As the Kangaroos prepare for the first Ashes Test against England at Wembley on Saturday (early Sunday, AEDT), Michael Chammas caught up with Cameron Munster to discuss his future at the Storm and the lure of R360.

Chammas: Your future, Cameron. What’s happening? Do you want to leave or stay?

Yeah, that’s a crazy one. I’m still contracted to the Storm until the end of 2027, so I can’t actually negotiate with another club until the end of next year, so I don’t know where all this hype is about me leaving and talking about me going to Perth and going to R360. It’s a bit of a [beat]-up.

I don’t know where it’s coming from. I’ve been speaking to Braith (manager Braith Anasta) about it and it’s not on his end as management, so I don’t know where it’s coming from. But any publicity is good
