MURRAY – The Murray Police Department announced Tuesday that it recently charged two men with sexual assault after two unrelated investigations.
In the first investigation, a news release said MPD o fficers took a report on Sept. 25 involving the sexual assault of a juvenile. After an investigation was completed, MPD arrested Matthew Adams, 28, of Murray, and charged him with counts of first-degree rape, three counts of distribution of obscene matter to a minor and one count of first-degree indecent exposure.
In its news release, MPD thanked the Vanderbilt University Police Department and Calloway County Sheriff’s Office Court Security with their assistance in this case.
