Continuing its drive against the Drug peddler, Police on Wednesday said to have arrested two drug peddler from Pampore area of Awantipora.

A Spokesperson said that During naka Checking at Tulbagh Pampore, Police party of Police Station Pampore headed by SHO PS Pampore Inspector Khalid Fayaz arrested 02 drug peddler identified as Younis Nisar Joo S/O Nisar Ahmad Joo R/O Wuyan and Syed Majid Altaf S/o Mohd Altaf R/O lethpora.

The arrested persons were travelling in a vehicle Ignis,which was signalled to stop and during search 30 gms of Charas Powder like substance was recovered from the possession of the persons travelling in the said vehicle.

Vehicle bearing registration number JKO2CC-0370 used in the commission of said crime has been seized.
