The Glendale Police Departent and the Drug Enforcement Administration are leading a drug take back event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25 in the front parking lot of the Glendale Adult Center, 5970 W. Brown St.
The goal is to provide residents an opportunity to safely and conveniently dispose of expired, unwanted or unused pharmaceutical substances.
Only controlled, non-controlled and over the counter pills, tablets and capsules will be accepted.
Glass containers, creams, inhalers, intravenous solutions and injectable drugs cannot be accepted. Sharps will not be accepted.
Only pills and capsules are accepted without containers. Pills must be bagged and not in bottles.
