Bhadrak: In a gruesome incident, a man allegedly attacked his elderly parents with a sharp weapon over a family dispute at a village in Chandbali area of Odisha’s Bhadrak district.

As per information, the incident took place in Talabandha village in Kherang panchayat under the jurisdiction of Chandbali police station of the district on Tuesday night. The elderly couple sustained critical injuries in the deadly attack. ADVERTISEMENT

Accused Manoj Nayak and his wife have reportedly fled the village after the incident. His father Madhusudan Nayak and mother Madhuri were first rushed to a nearby hospital and later shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack after their condition deteriorated.
