Mumbai, Oct 22 (UNI) A major fire broke out at a garment factory located in the Kamatghar area of Bhiwandi, Maharashtra’s Thane district, with firefighting efforts currently underway, an official said today.

The fire tenders were immediately rushed to the scene, and firefighting operations have been ongoing well into the early hours to bring the blaze under control.

Fortunately, no workers were present inside the factory when the fire started, and no injuries or casualties have been reported so far.
