Savannah Arts volleyball coach Lauren Lord has built one of the top programs in Georgia by testing her squad with a non-region schedule that builds a toughness that pays off in the postseason.

This season may be the best example of her strategy paying dividends. The Panthers entered the Class 2A playoffs with a record of 15-28 — but playing with assured confidence.
