A woman who was last seen at the scene of a crash on Northbourne Avenue in Braddon has not been heard from since the incident.
ACT police put out a public appeal to locate Stephanie Wills, 51, who is believed to be the driver of a vehicle involved in a two-car crash on Monday evening.
She was the only person in her car at the time of the crash and was last seen in Braddon about 6.30pm on October 20, a police spokeswoman said.
"[The woman] left the scene before police arrived," the spokeswoman added.
The 51-year-old is described as Caucasian in appearance, with a medium build, fair complexion, long blonde hair, and one hand amputated.
Police said the woman was wearing a long floral-pattern dress and was barefoot after the crash on Northbourne Avenue and Girrahween Street.
