Nottingham Forest are expecting to field plenty of interest in midfielder Elliot Anderson, with three Premier League heavyweights keen on him.

The 22-year-old has earned rave reviews since joining Forest from Newcastle last year in a £35m deal.

He was part of the England squad that won the Under-21 European Championship over the summer and has now won four caps for the senior side.

Thomas Tuchel is clearly a fan and there now seems every chance that Anderson will not just be in the squad for next summer’s World Cup, but could be in the starting XI for the Three Lions.

After a stunning season last time around which saw them return to European competition, it has been chaos at Nottingham Forest in recent months.
