The Blue Jays are back in the World Series for the first time in over three decades after an epic seven-game American League championship series bout with the Seattle Mariners, clinched by one memorable home run from George Springer .

Now, they’ll attempt to snatch the MLB crown from the defending champion Dodgers starting Friday, the first of at least two games at Rogers Centre in this seven-game series.

It’ll be the first championship showdown between these two teams — the Jays haven’t made it to the World Series since the second of their back-to-back titles in 1993, and are now aiming for their third championship overall.

The Dodgers are battling for a second consecutive World Series title after crushing the New York Yankees last year to capture their eight championship.
