‘Kantara Chapter 1’, written, directed by, and starring Rishab Shetty, is set for a global English release. Hombale Films, the production house behind the blockbuster, announced on X that the English-dubbed version will hit cinemas worldwide on October 31. This move follows the film’s massive box office success in Indian languages, aiming to reach more viewers across the globe who prefer English.

The film was initially released in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil on October 2, grossing over Rs 750 crore worldwide in just 20 days, with its net India collections crossing Rs 550 crore across languages. Its impressive run with both Indian and international audiences has sustained its momentum, and the makers hope the English version will further expand its reach.
