It is alleged that Sarah Mudge poured petrol on Stanley Obi and his partner and then set them alight after breaking into his home in Logan, south of Brisbane, in March 2022.
Mr Obi received critical burns to more than 90 per cent of his body and died the next day, while his partner escaped with minor burns to her throat.
Ms Mudge perished in the blaze.
