LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man is accused of going on a “shooting spree” in which he allegedly shot a 13-year-old walking home from school, multiple buildings and several homes in the Las Vegas area, according to documents obtained by NewsNation affiliate KLAS.

Hector Rodriguez, 36, faces several charges, including 28 counts of discharging a gun into a structure and four counts of assault with a deadly weapon, records said.

North Las Vegas police arrested Rodriguez on Sept. 26 after police said he shot toward them and then led them on a high-speed chase, according to the documents. Police did not issue a news release announcing Rodriguez’s arrest.
