Singer-actor Rishabh Tandon aka Faqeer passed away in Delhi on Wednesday, October 22, after suffering from a heart attack, according to a report by NDTV. The 35-year-old singer, who lived with his wife and actor-model Olesya Nedobegova in Mumbai was in the city to celebrate Diwali with his family.

“He died last night after a heart attack. He was in Delhi since August as his father was not well,” a family source told NDTV.

According to an India Today report, his family is in a complete state of shock and waiting for the relatives to conduct the singer’s final rites.

Known for his works like Phir Se Wahi and Ishq Faqeerana, the singer found music as a way to express himself and connect with his true self. He took a 10-year break from music to focus on his father’s business but dropped it
