As 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' completed 30 historic years on Monday, Pooja Ruparel, who immortalised the role of Chutki aka Miss Rajeshwari Singh, remembered her time on the film set, working with Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. She also called her casting a moment of divine alignment.

In an exclusive chat with India Today, Pooja recalled that she bagged the part without auditioning or chasing the role. She was contacted directly based on her earlier work in 'King Uncle' and was directly sent for a photo shoot with Kajol, which she called "a fun and effortless beginning." That instant connection with Kajol became the emotional starting point of her DDLJ journey.
