LANETT, Ala. (WTVM) - The Lanett Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance after a child was struck by a vehicle.

Authorities said the incident happened around 7 p.m. Tuesday on South 4th Avenue.

Investigators believe a black Ford Explorer captured in surveillance footage may have been in the area at the time and could be key to understanding what happened.
