NEW YORK (PIX11) – The top three candidates for New York City mayor will be facing off for one final time on Wednesday night for their last debate.

Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani continues to hold an insurmountable lead over independent candidate Andrew Cuomo, as long as Republican nominee Curtis Sliwa stays in the race, according to a new poll from AARP/Gotham Analytics. If Sliwa exits the race, Mamdani’s lead over Cuomo would shrink to 44.6% over 40.7%.

In his most recent messaging, Mamdani has vowed to scrutinize the billions of dollars the Department of Education is spending.
