Morrisons is set to close 103 shops, cafes, florists and pharmacies by the end of this year as the high street faces another fresh blow.

Most of the 17 daily convenience store closures have already taken place, with numerous locations waving goodbye to shoppers in April. Morrisons in Great Barr was hit by these series of closures, as staff shut its doors for the last time on April 16 of this year.

However, the end of 51 cafés, 13 florists, four pharmacies and all 18 Market Kitchens is yet to come before 2025 comes to a close - with multiple West Midlands locations on the list.

Cafes in Solihull and Stirchley are earmarked to go, alongside the Market Street Kitchen in Edgbaston . Small Heath is also set to face a blow as its pharmacy is expected to be axed.
