Ohio State and Indiana remain the lone undefeated teams in the Big Ten after blowout victories in Week 8.
Only the Buckeyes have a ranked opponent on the schedule the rest of the season – a showdown at No. 25 Michigan to end the year – so they could be on a collision course to meet the Hoosiers in the conference title game.
But if either team slips up the rest of the way, there are seven teams with a 3-1 record in Big Ten play hoping for an opportunity to play in Indianapolis.
After consecutive weeks of major upsets and exciting finishes, Week 8 didn’t deliver much drama.
There weren’t any seismic shifts in MLive’s latest Big Ten power rankings, but there are some minor changes.
18. Wisconsin (2-5, 0-4)
Previous rank: 18
Lost to No. 1 Ohio State, 34-0
