Pride has always been about strength.

The first pride was a riot on June 28, 1969, a protest against police brutality at Stonewall Inn, a gay dive bar in New Yok City's Greenwich Village. Since its first official recognition 30 years later in 1999, Pride has taken on different forms in parades, proms and drag shows. But, it’s always been about strength and community, support and love.
