Common Pleas Court Judge Margaret Amoroso heard testimony Tuesday morning in a one-day bench trial on child sexual assault charges lodged against former Delaware County Park Police Officer William T. McGrath IV.

McGrath, 31, of the 200 block of Parker Avenue in Upper Darby, was charged last year with 80 felonies across four offenses: Rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, statutory sexual assault by a person 8-11 years older; and indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age.

He was held over for court on all charges in January following a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Andrew Goldberg.
